Note from the developer:
Thank you for visiting BlindFoldedChess.com! This is an exciting new platform launched in April 2025, and we are currently in the development phase. We have many ideas, plans, and visions to make this site unique—unlike any other chess platform. We encourage you to check back often, as we will be rolling out updates and new features regularly.

Here is whats new:

Piece Placement:
Piece Placement is an engaging and challenging puzzle designed to help improve your visual memory and pattern recognition. By practicing this puzzle, you'll develop essential skills for playing chess blindfolded, including recognizing piece relationships and board patterns. As you solve the puzzles, you can earn coins to unlock new piece sets and board themes. The number of coins you earn depends on your accuracy and speed—the quicker and more precise your solutions, the greater your rewards!

Space Location:
Space Location is an unique way to learn the board itself. If you are a beginner to blindfolded chess when someone says to you, 'I had Rook on E4, and my King was pinned by their bishop on C2 because my King was on F5'. As a beginner, could you really visualize the game they were talking about? This puzzle will help you learn the locations of each row, collumn and space in the board so that when you do hear positions such as 'D2', 'G7', 'A4' and so on, you will be able to easily visualize the board.

Planned Future Updates:

Multiplayer:
Our next update that will be comming February is multiplayer. You will be able to play with your friends or with the AI. Make sure to coninue to play now and to pile up the coins to buy new sets and themes as this will show how good of a player you are. In the multiplayer feature, the one will the better statistics will have their board theme shown during multiplayer.

More Themes and Sets:
Not only will we be adding more themes and sets but we also plan on including where you can customize you own theme as well. As you play the game you will be able to level up and get to a rank where you will be able to purchase a specilized theme.

Comming Winter of 2025:

Animations & Perks:
We don't want to spoil what we have in store with these categories, but take our word that it will be fantastic! These are packs that you will be able to buy that you will be able to use agiain other players in Multiplayer games. Of course you will be able to use it in single player games, but it's more fun to show off your new purchases!

Blindfolded Chess:
Yes! Online blindfolded chess will be a reality. How will this be played? Stay tuned to find out this Summer!
